A small extract from our wine list:

Grüner Veltliner Smaragd "Ried Honivogl" 14%vol  2005

Medium green-yellow, lovely tobacco-like spice in the nose, fine note of Botrytis, pleasant touch of honey, peppery nuances. Juicy on the palate, wonderful ripe fruit, pitty, dry and precise, superb length, ravishing extract sweetness, perfect finish.

Winery Franz Hirtzberger, Spitz an der Donau – Wachau

Morillon "Zieregg" 14%vol 2004

Tender aromas of herbs and fruit in the nose, like slices of yellow apples, combined with the fragrance of roasted nuts. On the palate very close-knit and typically compact for the vintage, with a mineral-like touch and pleasant freshness. A big must for wine lovers!

Winery Manfred Tement, Berghausen

Pinot Noir "Grand Reserve" 13,5%vol 2001

Ripened at least 22 months in small wooden barrels and 6 months in the bottle. A fragrance of sour-cherries and berries, firm on the palate, fine balance of acid and tannin, soft, harmonic and long lingering aftertaste. Delicious with lamb dishes.

Johanneshof Reinisch, Tattendorf – Thermenregion

Magnat 13,5%vol  2004

A wonderful, elegant cuvee blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt, ripened in 80% new barrique barrels. A very strong wine, characterized by its complexity. A unique drinking experience – ideal together with intensive, dark sauces.

Winery Gerald Tschida, Apetlon – Neusiedlersee

Passo delle Mule Nero d'Avola 13,5%vol  2003

A hot tip from Italy. Nicely fruity, elegant cherry aromas, beautiful structure, dried fruit in the finish – a very forceful wine – ideal together with game!

Duca di Salaparuta, Palermo – Sicily

Terre Brune 14%vol  2001

Balsamic notes and fresh fragrance of hay, forceful taste, full volume of berries, overwhelming, beautiful tannins. The wooded note is perfectly integrated in the wine. A really great wine!

Cantina Santadi – Sardinia

Châteauneuf du Pape A.C. 13,5%vol  2002

Blended from a multitude of wines, this wine always present itself strong and full-bodied.

Château Cabrieres – Côtes du Rhône

Château Beychevelle 12,5%vol  1979
St. Julien – Bordeaux

Emilio Moro 14,5%vol  2003

One of the discoveries from Spain. 100% Tempranilla, ripened only in new barrique barrels, dark colour, very strong fragrance – almost exotic, a finish as can be expected. A real drinking experience.

Emilio Moro, Pesquera de Duero – Ribera del Duero
